I liked this movie but there was nothing humorous about it. The plot twist was unpredictable such that I want to go back and watch it over again knowing what I know now. Slow at times, but overall pretty good.

Very well-done & enjoyable. Sweet, funny, tender, real. Warmth, with a lot of truth & heart. Bravo Charlize Theron. Bravo Diablo Cody, the writer of this wonderful movie. Excellent directing by Jason Reitman. Very good cast of supporting actresses & actors. Overall, a great slice-of-life movie 👍👍👍💜

I loved the message, very relatable and inspiring. Everyday mothering is a beautiful thing, hard to remember at times because it is so boring, this movie captured that perfectly!
  • Great Mom and marriage movie

If you don’t have kids or a husband, then you may not get it but if you know people that do then this could be enlightening. I would not say it was a comedy for everyone but for a recent Mom and dad or experienced ones it could be. The ending was surprising and I wished they had addressed the issue revealed more but I guess the appearance of becoming more of a two man operation is suppose to have resolved it. I think they should make more movies like this.

I liked this movie a lot. Charlize Theron is right up there with Meryl Streep in the top category of great great actresses. This movie is marked as a ''comedy' (not sure why)', but don't watch it if you're looking for a funny, light movie.

This is the Truman Movie of domestic life. Although I stayed awake througout the movie it was nevertheless about the same excitement level as watching paint dry on a freshly painted wall.
