  • So disappointed

Individually, I love all the actors in this movie. But put them together in a forced yawner of a story and I’m disappointed. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money.

It's a great movie. I love these kinds of movie: cozy, funny, elegant, about real love, happiness and fun sexuality for women
  • Not A Book Club Movie

Movie covers personal lives and not enough book club material. Best lines were Candice Bergen’s Judge character.
  • A total waste of time and film

Don’t bother. It’s not only a moronic story, but it even fails in its sappiness.
  • Fun and entertaining!

  • Bummer about the cliches

I love seeing these four women on the screen, and together they have every potential in the world. But from the opening credits with those poorly spliced photographs of the four as young friends, this movie was just... depressing. Such a cliched script, such simplistic characters. I love a good romp and I don't need to be intellectually challenged at every turn - but this was just bland and meager. I'm grimacing just thinking of Diane Keaton meekly getting into her daughters' car, Jane Fonda playing a parody of Rue McClahanan from Golden Girls or Celia Imrie in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Mary Steenburgen actually roofie-ing her husband in public... we're supposed to laugh?
  • Hey Movie, I’m laughing at you, not with you.

Recycled and regurgitated material that four wonderful actors cannot elevate. Corny dialogue, hilariously obvious green screen backgrounds, forced dimensionless scenes. You get the idea...

It’s lighthearted and funny. What’s not to like about that. Gives hope to finding or keeping love at any age.
  • Really not sure how it celebrates

I never got past the cover - how is it celebrating older women when they cover has the hel airburshed out of it so they women don't look their age - ridiculous won't watch it because of that!

My wife and I are in our 60's and she decided she wants to rent this move. About 10 minutes in I'm done with it. It's filled with stupid inuendos and trying to get a laugh out of every line. My wife said turn it off after 1/2 hour. I've asked for a refund, don't spend your money on this, possible one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
